The Big Gig

Summerfest kicked off yesterday. Halie, Rachel, and I spent about the whole day there. We know the grounds so well from all the past years spent there. We probably know the place better than the workers lmao. There was the fireworks near the end of the day, the 3rd straight year we've seen those. We met these 4 guys there, we went to a small concert with them but they started to creep us out. So we pulled off this gig with 3 other guys where they pretended to be our boyfriends, lmao it was the best. I'm going to go to summefest quite a bit this year. Halie is hardcore at this so i'll be going with her quite a bit. I might be going tomorrow with Steve Gurgel during the day, I'm going to check with him about that. I can't wait for WEEZER mmmm. We've got 2 extra tickets, talk to me about it.

Time to reminise (sp)

It has been a little while since my last real post. It's about time we get caught up.

I've been to 2 movies since the last post. Shaun, Shelly, Katie, Trisha, and I saw The Longest Yard and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. This felt like back in the good old days. I remember when this group was so tight, it would be nice if we got back to that.

A TON of people showed up to my graduation party. Luckily we had enough food to feed the city of Whitefish Bay. I had a great time and I think most of the others did too. I never knew Shaun was such the volleyball player. I got more money from this grad party than I would have had from my job this whole summer. So I'm set for the most part. I'm going to buy a whole bunch of items for my dorm.

I just love my friends right now. Shaun can make me laugh whenever he wants and I know he'll always be there for me. I never thought I could get so close to a guy without going out with him, but we are so close and hopefully we will stay that way through college. I can talk to all my ladies-Katie, Shelly, Trisha, Rachel, and Halie-about anything. Those five have come in handy so much throughout school. All the guy-talks we've had, all the sleepovers, staying up late, I wouldn't take those back for anything. Then there is Matt, who has so much in common with me, we have great talks. Then there are the Steves-Gruber and Gurgel. Like their names, they are so alike. They can make me laugh my ass off, and yet they are the sweetest guys imaginable. Like Gurgel for example, Friday night my 'rents ditched me to minnesota and I was swamped with pre-party work. So Steve comes all the way from Mequon to help me out :). After something like that I had to do him a favor......by...making him my mars milkshake. (minds out of the gutter people). There are so many more people who have had a big influence on me throughout my school career, but I'm running short on time.

Hello everyone, its 8 o'clock in the morning and I am feeling the jobless summer boredom. I would call someone but who's up at 8? I'm wierd. Shaun's on tuesday night was a blast. I love the great times that me and Rachel have. We have all this inside stuff that makes everyone give us a wierd look. I love it. Sorry Shaun, we just use you for your pool, we really don't care about you as a person. Mwah jk. Loved watching Steve (Gruber) and Matt have their all out races. I've never seen tackling like that in a pool before. Gruber just made me laugh all night. Hahaha like when Steve (Gurgel) left. "Thank God he's gone, I can finally stop flexing!" Lol don't worry Gruber you can take him anyday ;). I think Shaun and Steve Gurgel are gay lovers, they hung out together the majority of the time, leaving the 2 seemingly straighter guys with all the gals. Speaking of those two they are big jerks, telling a woman how to eat, shame on you. It was really funny watching the two Steves trying to start the bonfire the caveman way, they got smoke I'll give them that. Lol "SWITCH!!!", they were intense. Katie and Halie didn't seem to have the best time, i thought it might have been a little wierd with Shaun and Gurgel there. I'm thinking about planning a girls night out one of these days. It was getting late so we decided to stay the night, nice bedtime story Rachel lol lol.

Love it...u know, sometimes i really don't understand why some people treat other people like there's no tomorrow. They say & do what they like without even thinkin if it hurts others. Simply not realizing that something is wrong...not helping to solve the problem, let alone apologizing. Some being so ungrateful, they tend to forget the values in life. No one's perfect in this world, everyone has their flaws. Forgiveness is something one should seek for, if one has done a terrible mistake. There's nothin to be ashamed of, let bygones be bygones. Agree with me? Let's forgive and forget.

Remember, my graduation party is the 25th. If you haven't received an invitation from me, ask about it. There will be a lot of family there, just to warn you. I wish we had a pool like Shaun, I guess the volleyball net will have to do. Anyways, come!

As predicted, Jacko was given a pass by a California Jury. Interesting how the only high-profile case to be tried by a California jury in recent memory where the defendant was found guilty was Scott Peterson.However, Scott Peterson wasn't a celebrity. And Jay Leno didn't testify on his behalf. But O.J., Baretta and Wacko all walk. I probably wouldn't feel as bad about this if the post-verdict interview with the jury didn't sound like a Q&A session with the local village idiot's union. If I ever do anything super screwed up, I want to be famous and I want my trial to be in California. Well anyways i'm about to head up to Shaun's for the aftermath party (2 weeks after the BIG one). This time there will be a lot less people. From what I know, its going to be Shaun, Katie, Matt, Shelly, Trish, Gruber, Halie, Rachel, me, and Steve Gurgel said he might come after his baseball game, he better. This will be the best summer ever

It's a good feeling i get about this summer. Since I quit work, I will have a ton of time to hang out with everyone and get a super tan. Speaking of which I miss Cancun sssooooo much. Shaun, Katie, and I had the best time imaginable. I just want to go back so bad. I have this sudden urge to go clubbing, I need to bust some moves as Steve Gruber would say. I feel bad for Rachel, they lost yesterday in the state championship, she sounded so sad when I talked to her. She wanted that more than anything for her senior year. Maybe she'll walk-on at uw milwaukee, I hope so at least. Anyways I don't know who all reads this. I have a link in my profile but I only talk to a few people on my new screename. So who knows.

Starting over

I miss this thing. Looking back, however, on my posts made me realilze that people could really get the wrong impression of me. So I deleted all my offensive posts. I'll never write one again. Let's see, I graduated from H.S., my party is June 25. Hope everyone can come. I think its cool that all the underclassmen have an extra week of school after we graduate, i just love rubbing it in Grub's face. Shaun and Katie broke up, about mid May. It's been really complicated with them ever since, its always like that after a long relationship. More than 8 months, not bad. I quit payless about 2 weeks ago, my parents told me I didn't need to work anymore so I'm like ok then. I'm going to madison in a couple of months. i am gong to miss Katie, Shaun, Shelly, Trisha, Matt, Gruber, Rachel, Halie, and EVERYONE so bad. We certainly will make the most of this summer. :)

It's been quite a bit since my last post, sorry to anyone who still bothers to check this. I am still trying to get back into the flow of things from my trip to Mexico. Cancun was the time of my life, the best part about it was having my two best friends with me. We chilled at the beach almost the entire time we were down there. There were a lot of other spring breakers down there, but also a lot of Mexican people. I enjoyed listening to the Mexicans, because they assumed I couldn't understand spanish haha. Hey Mexicans, i do know what a mamacita is lol. To tell the truth, I was a little disappointed with the guys there, only a handful had six packs, but lol anyways. I returned so dark, it was amazing. The best day was my 18th birthday the Saturday before we left. First off that night for dinner Shaun's parents took us to this fancy restaurant. I had lobster for the first time, it's pretty good. Then we went to this mexican club. I was disappointed because he didn't even check our I.D.s, what's the point of being 18 then?? If you want to buy stuff for really cheap, go to those outdoor markets in Mexico. Very cheap stuff there. Prom is coming up, Brent and Scott both asked me, but I have never actually talked that much to either of them so I said no. Both Matt and Steve Gurgel have prom dates, so nothing there. It looks like i'll just go with friends for my senior year. I'm not to sad, however. I'll try to keep posting regularly.

Yes, I haven't had the chance to post recently, I am doing premakeup homework for the trip to Cancun with Shaun and Katie (and the parents of my beloved Katie) over our mini break, plus the 3 days of school the week after. This way I can come back to school and be carefree (not to mention a little tanner also). I get asked why i would go with a couple, but I don't feel like a third wheel when I am with Shaun and Katie. When they are around me they still show they love eachother, but I am included in pretty much every conversation. They have the perfect relationship. Don't know who still reads this thing. I know Steve does because I am in his links :D. Speaking of that my gals in forensics decided to stop at Culvers in Mequon after the competition. I am eating my meal and I notice Aarica and Halie writing on some paper, so I ask them whatsup. They tell me they are writing their numbers for the guy in the drive thru. So I look over and lol its STEVE, (the first time i've seen him in person since the breakup). Then Trish opens up her big mouth and says oh its the guy you were going out with. So all the girls are like oh my god what! Let me talk to him! Eeek thanks Trisha lol. I guess Steve sort of lied to me he told me he didn't work Friday nights, lol jk. We talked a little bit and i think we can become good friends again. (and Steve, Halie is LUTHERAN! lol she was the brunette one) I get the question of why do you talk about Steve on almost every post. That's because he's the only person that I know reads this thing, you guys have been slacking big time on the comments. Haha sorry Shaun, I changed my mind, i won't reveal my secret to always beating you. It really doesn't take a genious, just pay attention to where I go. Anyways Saturday night I had the gang meet Steve, and I feel they got along very well. There was so much funny stuff that happened. Oh where do I begin. Haha when I introduced Shelly to Steve she hugs him and then lifts up his shirt, lol Shelly lol! Then Steve says hmmm wonder how she knew those were there? Must have been a wild guess. I guess that helped break the ice. Lol then Shaun and Mrs. Emmerson show off their hand clapping routine. I must say Katie's mom is the coolest mom on the planet. "Stare-offs" as we called them, Shelly completely dominated, she made everyone laugh within 5 frieking seconds. How do you do it Shelly. Trish I must say you are the worst stare-offer, she was the only one I could beat. Then when we were watching Napoleon Dynomite and we get to the Rex-Quondo part Steve is laughing so hard he is turning reddish pink, so Shaun gets pissed off at him and shoves him hard off the couch lol, and hes still laughing on the floor. Shaun is standing on top of him and yells to him ITS NOT THAT FUNNY!!!! Oh my hahaha. Then at 11:30 Shelly gets a call from her mom and we can hear her yelling over the phone "MICHELLE LYNN HANKE, YOU WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE HOME A HALF HOUR AGO!" lol lol, but Shelly tells us she didn't get in too much trouble, thank goodness. We kicked the boys out at 12:30 and I slept over at Katie's, where we had some good talks. Sunday I talked to Father Henson after mass, I explained to him my current situation and he was so understanding, I love that guy. I think his words really strengthened my faith. Steve and friends won't be happy about that but I can't contradict my conciense. That's all folks, I'll see you when I see you.

Yesterday was probably the most boring day of my entire life. I was really sleepy because I couldn't fall asleep until about 3, so I got about 2 and a half hours of sleep. Then like all the teachers were boring beyond belief. Lunch nobody talked, and I was too tired to start anything. The only good thing I can think of is that Matt is finally talking to me again. I really don't know why he stopped one day but we're good now. Oh yeah I need to give a shout to Meghan, who scored 18 points in the girls game Thursday. I know she reads this and I wanted to congratulate her. For some reason I signed up to take stats for the boys game in Grafton, so I was doing that last night. I feel kind of bad because I could tell Steve really wanted me to go to his game in Milwaukee :(. The boys won, Steve (Gruber) scored 18 points, including this awesome shot at the buzzer from like between half court and the three line. He's going to be really good next year, too bad I will be gone to miss that. Today I work from 2-8 at payless, and then after that I'm going to Katie's house with Steve, Shelly, Trisha, and Shaun. So Trish and Shelly can finally meet my boy :). I am also going to introduce Steve to Napolean Dynomite, he's seen only its and bits of it, I can't believe that lol. Best movie ever!!!

Girl's Shoes???

I was working today from 4-7. It is usually boring there beyond belief, although I just love looking at the new shoes we bring in. Today I walk through the girl's shoes aisle and I find Alex, with 2 pair of girls shoes in his hands lmao. He was "getting them for his sister" RIGHT! Don't worry, I believe you Al. Today for the first time I fell asleep in class, in 5th block with Mr. Poole. I know it happens a lot, I see others fall asleep all the time. But I don't fall asleep, not ME! Poole bitches at me how I am too good of a student to be doing this. I think I almost fell asleep again 5 minutes later, what was it today? Shaun Howell here is your sentence so you can't complain to me how I never write about you, Shaun's lunch was stolen today. Probably by Mitch because he can't get his hands off food. So I donated my hostess cupcakes on his behalf, to show that I care for Shaun. Plus it probably saved me a quarter pound in weight I don't need. I am seriously not satisfied with this post, but I have to go.

Don't you just hate it when you know you are being avoided? That's the way I felt about Matt Schneck these past 2 days. I have no clue why. Normally I talk to him all the time, but I noticed he just stopped talking to me. He always sat next to me in sociology, but yesterday and today he went and sat with his basketball buddies. At lunch he now sits on the other end of the table. Today in free period he did not say a word to me. Then I ask him questions and he gives me his short, one word replies. I just give up on some people. Big news, Shelly got a job! I'm sorry Shelly but I cannot see you working, no offense. You are a lazy ass lol! She works at the noodles in Wauwatosa. That's pretty far, wow. I wouldn't drive that far to work ever. Have fun making your 6.55, that's not too bad for starting salary. I saved the biggest news for last. Happy Valentines

It's kind of a bummer that we had school today and a few of my friends from other schools had the day off. This morning Jack was rubbing it in my face that his 3rd grade class at Cumberland had a frieking field trip. Wow!! They are going to the Health Education Center lol, I think I'd rather be in school thank you. He calls his school Cucumberland, haha oh my. Our school did a bunch of gay shit for valentines day. It was something about cupid and some other nonsense, it was kind of wierd. Shaun bought Katie this kick ass bracelet, I think that beats candy or flowers any day lol. But anyways Nathan Webber, who has pretty much never talked to me before, buys me a flower gram. Thanks??? School went really fast today, and the next thing i knew I was home and writing in my blog. I have to run, however, Steve is coming over in 20 ;). Unless he is "fashionably early" again lol.

Let's see, yesterday I went to my 8 year old brother's rec league basketball game. I never realized how athletic my brother Jack is. He scored 17 points, wow. Jessica was going bonkers on the sideline. Just think if I was a guy, I'd be the school jock. After the game I showered, got a hair cut, and just sat there for a good hour before going to see Meet the Fockers with Steve, Katie, and Shaun. Okay, maybe that was too much preparation lol. I had a superb time at the movie. And yes, unfortunately Steve is a cardinals fan, yuck (who likes the cardinals honestly). But i quickly realized that he's the sweetest guy i have ever met, not to mention he does a lot of cool stuff. Like he has a barbershop quartet lol lol lol he sang me his theme song and I almost peed my pants laughing. Then after the movie i tell him to sing me a song, any song. he starts singing "Hands Down" by Dashboard. He knew the entire song by heart, i was truly impressed by that and his voice. Lol yeah, I know, he reads this blog, but I don't care. I am so glad I went last night. Tonight I caught him by suprise and visited him at work. He told me I was his second visitor of all time. Haha, I feel special. Tomorrow should be fun, valentintes day. Don't know what I am doing yet for the 14th. Hahaha, my brother is chasing Globetrotter around the house, because he stole his hat. Speaking of which, everyone always asks me why we named him Globetrotter. And I say why not??? Actually it was Jess's idea because he wast he only puppy walking around in the pen. Sorry it has been a while. The party was fun we watched Napolean Dynomite twice haha I love that movie with a passion. I bought a new purse at the mall. I looked for a dress for prom, (yes ik i am looking way ahead) but none really caught my eye. Katie left 7 messages on my phone yesterday telling me how much she loved me. I love her so much words cant even describe it. We are going to be old gramas one day living next to each other calling each other every minute. Nothing is really new and blog worthy at the moment, there was something i was planning on writing earlier, but i forgot. oh well goodnight
